What we do with your photo

What you give us
A selfie. Optionally a line about your song. Your Apple sign-in if you join a friend's band or want your band on a new phone. A push token if you turn on notifications.
Where your photo goes
Your photo is sent to these services to make your band. You agree to this in the app before the first upload.
- Replicate running Google Nano Banana Pro: your photocards and the group shot.
- xAI (Grok): the band's names and lore, the lyrics, the shot list, a check that the photo shows one adult face, and the videos.
- Replicate running ByteDance OmniHuman: the solo close-up, made from one photocard and ten seconds of the song.
- ElevenLabs: the song, from the lyrics we write. Your photo does not go here.
- Amazon Web Services (S3): where your photos, songs and videos are stored, privately.
Each of these keeps data under its own terms. We do not sell your photo or anything made from it.
Who sees your band
The people in it. Everyone in a band can see and share every video made in that band, including the ones with your face, and that stays true after you leave. Invite links are private links; anyone you send one to can see the band's name and group shot.
Age
The app is for people 13 and over. Photos must show an adult. We refuse photos that appear to show a minor.
Payments
Apple handles payment. RevenueCat tells us which plan you are on. We never see your card.
Crashes and installs
Sentry receives crash reports with the prompts stripped out. AppsFlyer counts installs for our ads if you allow tracking; say no and it does not.
Deleting your account
You tab, Delete account. Your photos are deleted. Your slot in any band goes to a stand-in. Bands you own pass to the longest-standing member, or are deleted if you were the only person in them. Videos already made stay with the band.
